In Brazil I am struck by passion you can experience in daily life, given to you in a human and powerful simplicity. A place where there is still room for imperfection and gentle chaos. The magical golden hue, flowers and playful decoration in front a house.  The doors of homes in the local communities being opened, graffiti, the creativity in building a solution with little means and the sexiness of being surrounded by music and dance around the clock. All of this stole my heart.

Rhythm and dance seem deeply embedded into the Brazilian culture, connecting different generations and social layers. I'm intrigued by the feeling of freedom and a more natural racial equality in the cities, local communities and public environments like the beach.
