Bamboo rods are used everywhere in China to dry laundry on the street, the rods rest on metal structures which are connected to a building facade.

Based on this this 'Chinese laundry' principle we designed a low-cost and flexible display system.

We placed bamboo rods on the metal beam structure, suspended bamboo and designed a free standing display out of metal and bamboo rods.

The ladder is handmade out of scrap wood, these ultra cheap, perfectly functional ladders are used on every construction site.

We picked one, painted it and added leather details.
